Hibernating creatures and Winter

Hibernating means that you sleep through out the cold Winter.

There are lots of animals that hibernate like:

  • mice

  • Frogs

  • Hedgehogs

  • Moles

  • Voles

  •                                           For animals that don't hibernate (for example birds) you should put food in your garden such as:

  • bread​

  • peas

  • water 

  • peanuts and almonds​.

Nocturnal animals

Nocturnal means animals  stay awake in the night and sleep during the day. These animals are nocturnal :

  •  moles

  • voles

  • mice(some)

  • owl

  • hedgehog
